		<description>It&#039;s true that it&#039;s much easier to get your comments to the author (or editor).  But, judging from the comments I see on many blogs, the amount of careful thinking they contain is often much less than went into those letters carefully typed and sent via the post office.  Is that because the easier it is, the less we care about it?</description>
