Challenge Information Overload is a blog written by Nathan Zeldes (me): applied physicist by education, VLSI and IT engineer by vocation, and expert on knowledge worker effectiveness through long years of driving this subject at Intel and beyond. At present I apply my knowledge as an independent consultant focusing on helping companies solve problems at the intersection of technology and human behavior. You can read more about that at http://www.nzeldes.com, or write me at nathan <at> nzeldes <dot> com.
Challenge Information Overload is also a mission, a battle cry, that I’ve been evangelizing and driving for the past 15 years, driven by my passion to restore productivity, sanity, and the ability to enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done and the balance of a happy life to my fellow engineers, managers, and all knowledge workers.
We live at a time when powerful computing technology has revolutionized our world and given us incredible opportunities to be creative, productive, and connected to each other; we must learn how to make sure this technology remains our tool, not our master. Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and learning from, many leading thinkers and doers in this space; this blog is where I share what I’ve learned, in the hope it may benefit others (that’s you!). You can read more about the blog’s direction in the first post.
Of course, this blog is also about you, my reader. Do join the discussion by sharing your insights in the comments, whether they agree with mine or not. Let’s get a conversation going!
